Kodokan Judo Institute
Kodokan is the dojo that Sensei Jigoro Kano founed in 1882. It started out with a handful of tatami mats and a few students. It is the birth place of Kodokan Judo, which is one of the most widely practice sports and forms of self-defense in the world.

The United States Judo Association, provides event listings for tournaments, clinics, and camps, plus contact information. They provide books, videos, uniforms, and other supplies. They assist coaches in building their clubs, and provide them with membership rosters, forms, and other support, all at no charge to its members.
