Members of Alaska Judo/USA Judo support the sport at all levels and have the right to participate in the business affairs of Alaska Judo and USA Judo. When you register with USA Judo you are automatically a member of the state group through which you are registered. (e.g. Alaska Judo)

On-line registration is available for individual members.
Families must submit a paper application the first time they register as a family. There after, they may use the on-line registration renewal. If your family has 3 or more members you may submit a family membership application to take advantage of family discounts when you renew your registration.

Individual and Family Membership benefits include:

  1. Protection of amateur standing in all tournaments that USA Judo sanctions in the United States.
  2. Ability to participate in any USA Judo-sanctioned event in the U.S. for which you are qualified. This includes clinics and training camps. Furthermore, all National tournaments sanctioned by either USJF or USJA are open to qualified USA Judo members.
  3. Opportunity to represent the USA at the Pan American Games, Pan American Championships, World Championships, select international competitions and the Olympic Games!
  4. Participation in International Judo Exchange Programs.

  6. Electronic members-only newsletter from USA Judo
  7. Members only hotel and other travel discounts
  8. One million dollar liability insurance for coaches or officials at sanctioned events and scheduled training sessions. No deductible.
  9. Excess Accident Medical Insurance for any injury occurring at a sanctioned event or scheduled training session. Membership includes a $25,000 medical insurance policy with a $2,500 deductible. "Excess" coverage means that it goes into effect after any other health insurance you might have.
  10. Discount registration to The Business of Judo National Conference (Coming soon!)
  11. Membership in Alaska Judo. Members can participate in Alaska Judo Board of Directors meetings, and may represent their Alaska as a delegate to the National Board of Directors meetings, serve on National Committees, and run for National-elected office.

Life Membership Application

USA Judo athletes receive 100% of the amount given for Life Member dues. None of the money is used for fundraising or administration costs. It's all invested and the interest and dividends are used for scholarships. It's the best, safest investment you can make that directly benefits the athletes.

Life members do not have to pay the full membership fee at once, you can choose to pay on a payment schedule, for as little as $25 each month. And it means so much to the athletes it helps. In many cases, it makes the difference of whether or not they can continue training.
